REQUIREMENTS TO BE A VOLUNTEER

Approved Application
-
36 hours in-house training/year
-
Valid NC Driver’s License
-
18 years of age
-
Junior Firefighters can be 14 years of age
ADDITIONAL TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES
Firefighter Level I and II certification

Pumps Training
-
Driver/Operator Training
-
Live Fire Training
-
Medical Responder
-
CPR
We meet every Thursday at 7:00 PM at the Caldwell Fire Department.
Most classes are offered at Caldwell Fire Department throughout the year.
Volunteering can lead to full or part time work at a paid department.

CALDWELL AUXILIARY MEMBERS:
Auxiliary sponsors Fire Fighter Appreciation Events including Durham Bull’s game, Palace Pointe Gift cards and other gifts
Auxiliary’s funds are used to buy equipment and other supplies for the fire department.
Auxiliary feeds the fire fighters on the first Thursday of every month.
Auxiliary meets the second Tuesday of every month at 7:00 PM at the Caldwell Fire Department
